DEFENSE CONTRACTOR
Breach of Contract. Purchase of a division of a corporation was canceled when buyer's insurance company refused to honor bid bond and completion bond. This occurred after insurance company discovered the broker's agent had fraudulently signed bonding documents. Corporation subsequently sold division to another buyer, but at terms less advantageous than original sale transaction. Corporation sued insurance company. Performed calculation of damages to plaintiff due to difference in terms of the two sales transactions.

Government Contract Procurement Violations. For defense subcontractor anticipating U.S. government investigation, reviewed employees' expense records for a period of years for possible violations of defense contractor regulations, particularly purchasing fraud.
